(Räṛu 53)1 Amamai kayi ata andivo ànyaro ri ekye: “Lu i'do!”
Ànya cini enjirute,
ago ànya ka ŋga koziro oye;
'diaza alona i'do se kabe taŋgye oye.
2 OPI ka voondre vuru ni vo'buyakuru yasi lidri cini dri
le ondrene kode 'diaza gibe se ka taoye tavouni si,
se kabe nda mätu.
3 Oko ànya cini kute ni Lu resi;
kozi ànya cini ro ojo rere.
'Diaza alona i'do se kabe taŋgye oye,
aza alona i'do 'de.
4 Oko OPI ka taeji ekye:
“Inye'do taundi oye'bai cini kwoi ṛo tauniako ya?
Ànya kayi ori ŋga lidri maro ro topa si,
ànya mätuyi ma OPI ko alona.”
5 Oko ànya a'dona 'da turi ro ndra,
tana Lu orivoya ànya se kabe taŋgye oye be.
6 Taundi oye'bai kayi tavoora 'dise ati'baro ro gburune,
oko OPI orivoya gaga'ba ndaro.
7 Ma mätu tana ŋgaopa
ikyina 'da Yisaraele ri ni Zaiona yasi!
Ondro OPI kogo kologo ŋgaamba lidri ndaro rote oko,
zelevoi Yakoba ro oyena riyä 'da, ago lidri Yisaraele ro a'dona 'da yai'dwe si.
Human Wickedness
(Psalm 53)1 Fools say to themselves,
“There is no God!”
They are all corrupt,
and they have done terrible things;
there is no one who does what is right.
2 The Lord looks down from heaven at us humans
to see if there are any who are wise,
any who worship him.
3 But they have all gone wrong;
they are all equally bad.
Not one of them does what is right,
not a single one.
4 “Don't they know?” asks the Lord.
“Are all these evildoers ignorant?
They live by robbing my people,
and they never pray to me.”
5 But then they will be terrified,
for God is with those who obey him.
6 Evildoers frustrate the plans of the humble,
but the Lord is their protection.
7 How I pray that victory
will come to Israel from Zion.
How happy the people of Israel will be
when the Lord makes them prosperous again!
