Ŋen ŋəwujənu ŋwuji gəṯëd̶ənialo na ed̶a gakəməd̶ia
1 Yesu nəŋəlwaɽəṯi ṯaləmis ŋen ŋəwujənu ṯa, d̶eṯəm yënəŋulu ṯayekeɽəd̶o Rəmwa jaica jaica na aiyerṯe yofəd̶iano, 2 nəŋaṯa, “Eləŋ gafo gənəŋ alo yenəŋ igi gero gəd̶əñia Rəmwa na gero gəd̶əñia led̶a com. 3 Na wuji gafo gənəŋ alo yakəl igi ebaŋgen gaiyo, na gënəŋu nəŋəmeṯa nano ñoman ñwaiña nəŋaṯa, ‘Naicəñe ŋen ŋəd̶urwaṯo ŋed̶a igi gəgeiyeiñe!’ 4 Iliga lwalano gënəŋu ganed̶o orn iliga lənḏurṯu nəŋaṯa egare gəlëɽəŋu, ‘Egero igəd̶əñia Rəmwa na egero igəd̶əñia led̶a, 5 orn ŋen ŋanṯa wuji igi gaiñirnḏeicia kaiñ igid̶i emanaice ŋen ŋəd̶urwaṯo ŋen ŋanṯa nḏurṯu alo gënəŋu aŋerṯe gaiñəcwaria gəñokoɽəbaṯa nano!’ ” 6 Eləŋ Yesu nəŋaṯa, “Nər ŋen iŋi ŋeləŋ gero gəd̶urwaṯa eŋen gəlwaɽo. 7 Na Rəmwa raber rid̶i arəmoṯe ŋen ŋəled̶a əllëɽəŋu ildi luṯənu na lurəndəd̶ia ṯa alneini ŋen ŋəd̶urwaṯo ildi lurəndəd̶ia ëd̶əñëd̶əñin na uləŋgələŋ? Gaɽe rënəŋu raber rid̶i arəlaməd̶aṯe taltal? 8 Igandəlwaɽəṯia ṯa rënəŋu rarəmoṯwa ŋen ṯa lënəŋulu alneini ŋen ŋəd̶urwaṯo taltal. Orn gaɽe Id̶ia gə-Led̶a gid̶i aŋəfid̶i led̶a ildi lerṯo d̶wonaṯa alo ndə geṯo?”
Ŋen ŋəwujənu ŋ-Alfarisi na ŋed̶a gətəmeicia ṯolba
9 Na Yesu nəŋəlwaɽəṯi led̶a ləmaṯan ŋen ŋəwujənu ildi lëɽənu d̶əñano ṯa lad̶urwaṯo eŋen na lad̶aməco led̶a eŋen ildi lwomən pred̶: 10 “Led̶a ləɽijan lënṯu ig-Alekəl ṯa aleɽəd̶e Rəmwa. Ed̶a gənəŋ g-Alfansiyin, na ed̶a gwomən gəled̶a lətəmeicia ṯolba.
11 “Ed̶a g-Alfarisiyin gad̶əru nəŋəṯurṯi Rəmwa ṯia eŋen ŋəlëɽəŋu ṯa, ‘Ya Rəmwa igaŋërṯiaŋa nano ŋen ŋanṯa egero egəbarna led̶a ildi lwomən, ildi ləsaṯa lorəba na ləgera ŋen na ləɽo nalaiñ, na ŋen ŋanṯa egero egəbarna ed̶a igi gətəmeicia ṯolba com. 12 Egaɽaŋa ŋorwaṯaŋa ñoman ñəɽijan eñoman d̶enəŋ ñəməñe ñəɽijan. Na egananaid̶ia laŋge egworəb ildi ləɽo red̶ elaŋge pred̶ igəfafid̶əlo’. 13 Orn ed̶a igi gətəmeicia ṯolba gad̶əru nwaldaŋ aten na gero gamed̶əño ṯa gatucia isi elo orn ṯaŋəpunu lurəmia bəɽan nəŋaṯa, ‘Ya Rəmwa giyacəñe ŋəbaiya nano ŋen ŋanṯa igeicia!’ ” 14 Yesu nəŋaṯa, igandəlwaɽəṯia ṯa, “Ed̶a igei gətəmeicia ṯolba gad̶aŋəṯo eɽa gəd̶urwaṯo eŋen Rəmwa nëiñua orn ed̶a gwomən gero gəbəd̶ia ṯia. Ŋen ŋanṯa ed̶a igi goɽrinia bəɽan gënəŋu gid̶i aŋid̶əni gəta na ed̶a igi gəbəd̶ənia gəta bəɽan gënəŋu gid̶i aŋoɽrini.”
Ŋen Yesu gabuŋṯu ñere ñərra
(Maṯṯa 19:13-15Margus 10:13-16)15 Led̶a ləmaṯan lafo lamaməṯu Yesu ñere eñen ṯa gënəŋu aŋələpərre. Orn ndə ṯaləmis yiseicu ṯia, negəriñaṯe led̶a. 16 Yesu nəŋundəd̶eini ñere nano, nəŋaṯa, “Ŋgiṯr ñere aiñeṯa nano. Ñerṯe ñagələtriṯia ŋen ŋanṯa led̶a larno ṯia ŋələŋe ŋə-Rəmwa ŋaŋen. 17 Đeṯəm igandəlwaɽəṯia ṯa ed̶a gənəŋ igi gəber gəbaŋënṯia ŋələŋe ŋə-Rəmwa ŋen ŋarno ŋere ŋəta gënəŋu gaber gid̶i aŋënṯi.”
Ŋen maje gerṯo laŋge lwaiña gəpwaiña d̶əməṯia d̶əbəɽəbəte
(Maṯṯa 19:16-30Margus 10:17-31)18 Na eləŋ gənəŋ gəled̶a l-Alyawuḏ geɽəd̶o Yesu nəŋaṯa, “Ya Ed̶a gəŋəra gəbërrəŋaid̶ia ŋen, igëbəd̶ia ṯau ṯa yerṯe d̶əməṯia d̶əbəɽəbəte?”
19 Yesu nəŋəmeiṯi ṯa, “Agënəciñi egəŋəra ed̶a? Ed̶a gero gənəŋ gəŋəra illi Rəmwa ronto. 20 Agaləŋeṯo Alganun: Ŋerṯe agəɽaŋa wujiga gərto, ŋerṯe agəɽiñəd̶ia, ŋerṯe agəlaldəbəca, ŋerṯe agaɽia wen na d̶əñiṯu eṯalo na ləŋgalo.” 21 Na eləŋ nəŋəmeiṯi ṯa, “Egarəmoṯo ŋen iŋi pred̶ liga egəɽo ëd̶əm na d̶əñid̶i məldin.” 22 Ndə Yesu gəno ŋen iŋi nəŋəmeiṯi ṯa, “Agafo pwa eŋen ŋənəŋ. Mbu ŋaṯwe laŋge pred̶ əllaɽəŋa na ŋananaice led̶a algərus ildi ləɽo ləbai na agid̶i ŋerṯe laŋge lwaiña elo. Oro ŋela ŋaiñəteṯe.” 23 Orn ndə eləŋ gəno ŋen iŋi ṯaŋwano kaiñ ŋen ŋanṯa gënəŋu gerṯo laŋge lwaiña. 24 Ndə Yesu gəseicu eləŋ gwana kaiñ nəŋaṯa. “Ŋen ŋau ŋəbɽwaŋəno ṯia eled̶a ildi lerṯo laŋge lwaiña ṯa alënṯi eŋələŋe ŋə-Rəmwa! 25 Ŋen ṯa d̶ëuri d̶əbënṯia id̶əɽi d̶alibria ŋen iŋi ŋabaped̶ ŋaməñaṯo ŋen ṯa ed̶a igi gerṯo laŋge lwaiña gəbënṯia eŋələŋe ŋə-Rəmwa.” 26 Led̶a ildi ləno ŋen iŋi ldaṯa. “Ndə ŋen ŋəfo ṯia, əsëgi gəɽwad̶aṯa gëbərnia.” 27 Orn Yesu nəŋaṯa, “Ŋen iŋi led̶a ləber ləɽwad̶aṯa ləbəd̶ia, Rəmwa rënəŋu raɽwad̶aṯa rəbəd̶ia.” 28 Buṯrus nəŋaṯa, “Seicu, nanda ñagaŋgiṯu neɽa enaiñ nəñaŋateṯe.” 29 Yesu nəŋəlwaɽəṯi ṯa, “Đeṯəm igandəlwaɽəṯia ṯa led̶a pred̶ ildi ləŋgiṯu neɽa enen na wasenanda na lorldenanda na eṯenanda na ləŋgenanda na ñere ŋen ŋanṯa ŋələŋe ŋə-Rəmwa, 30 lënəŋulu lid̶i alneini d̶əñid̶i ŋen ŋwaiña kaiñ ŋəməñaṯo ŋen ŋananoŋ na iliga ildi lid̶i alela lid̶i alneini d̶əməṯia d̶əbəɽəbəte.”
Ŋen Yesu gəlwaɽo təŋ eŋen ŋəŋəɽaiñ ŋəlëɽəŋu
(Maṯṯa 20:17-19Margus 10:32-34)31 Yesu nəŋəmaṯe ṯaləmis aləsoŋ isi yeɽo red̶ neməñe eɽijan nəŋəlwaɽəṯi ṯa, “Seicr! Ləgabəṯar alo yi-Ursalim na ŋen pred̶ iŋi alanəbiya yiwërd̶u eŋen ŋ-Id̶ia gə-Led̶a ŋid̶i aŋəɽiñad̶eini. 32 Ŋen ŋanṯa gënəŋu gid̶i aŋəneid̶əni eled̶a ildi gerṯe laɽo Alyawuḏ na gid̶i aŋəd̶aməjəni eŋen na gid̶i aŋwërni na gid̶i aŋəd̶aṯabijəni nano. 33 Lënəŋulu lid̶i almëpwi kaiñ almaɽiñe, na ndə ñoman ñəɽo ñiɽijin gënəŋu gid̶i aŋətwod̶e eŋəɽaiñ.” 34 Orn ṯaləmis yero yeləŋeṯa ŋen iŋi pred̶ na ŋen ŋatërainəlo nano. Na yënəŋulu niyaijəbeṯe ŋen iŋi Yesu gəɽwataṯa nano.
Ŋen Yesu geid̶u ed̶a gəŋəlisi
(Maṯṯa 20:29-34Margus 10:46-52)35 Ndə Yesu gəfo alo y-Ariya ṯwaiñ, ed̶a gənəŋ gəŋəlisi gəber gəseid̶ia gafo gaɽaŋa ed̶ad̶ ṯaŋekeɽəd̶o led̶a laŋge. 36 Ndə maje gəno led̶a lwaiña ləbərlda ed̶ad̶ nəŋeɽəd̶əd̶e ṯa, “Ŋen ŋəwande?” 37 Na led̶a ldəmeiṯi ṯa, “Yesu galo yi-Nasəraṯ fəŋu gəbərlda ed̶ad̶!” 38 Gënəŋu nəŋundəd̶i Yesu nəŋaṯa, “Ya Yesu Id̶ia gə-Ḏawuḏ, giyacəñe ŋəbaiya nano.” 39 Led̶a ildi lafəṯu Yesu nëiñua ldəmagariñaṯe ldəmeiṯi ṯa bwaiño ŋəma, orn maje ṯaŋurndəd̶u kaiñ nəŋaṯa ṯa, “Id̶ia gə-Ḏawuḏ giyacəñe ŋəbaiya nano.” 40 Yesu nəŋəd̶uri nəŋəlwaɽəṯi led̶a ṯa aləmamaṯe maje nano. Ndə geṯo Yesu ṯwaiñ, nəŋəmeɽəd̶e ṯa, 41 “Fəwandəgi agwonaṯa igəŋiṯia?” Maje nəŋaṯa, “Ya Eləŋ ŋgiṯəñi iseid̶i təŋ.” 42 Yesu nəŋəmeiṯi ṯa, “Seid̶u. Đwonaṯa d̶əlaɽəŋa d̶eid̶iaŋa.” 43 Na maje nəŋəseid̶i taltal nəŋəteṯe Yesu ṯaŋənanaico Rəmwa ŋaɽrwa. Na led̶a pred̶ ldənaice Rəmwa ŋaɽrwa ndə ləseicu ŋen iŋi.
A Widow and a Judge
1 Jesus told his disciples a story about how they should keep on praying and never give up:
2 In a town there was once a judge who didn't fear God or care about people. 3 In that same town there was a widow who kept going to the judge and saying, “Make sure that I get fair treatment in court.”
4 For a while the judge refused to do anything. Finally, he said to himself, “Even though I don't fear God or care about people, 5 I will help this widow because she keeps on bothering me. If I don't help her, she will wear me out.”
6 The Lord said:
Think about what that crooked judge said. 7 Won't God protect his chosen ones who pray to him day and night? Won't he be concerned for them? 8 He will surely hurry and help them. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find on this earth anyone with faith?
A Pharisee and a Tax Collector
9 Jesus told a story to some people who thought they were better than others and who looked down on everyone else:
10 Two men went into the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood over by himself and prayed, “God, I thank you that I am not greedy, dishonest, and unfaithful in marriage like other people. And I am really glad that I am not like that tax collector over there. 12 I go without eating for two days a week, and I give you one tenth of all I earn.”
13 The tax collector stood off at a distance and did not think he was good enough even to look up toward heaven. He was so sorry for what he had done that he pounded his chest and prayed, “God, have pity on me! I am such a sinner.”
14 Then Jesus said, “When the two men went home, it was the tax collector and not the Pharisee who was pleasing to God. If you put yourself above others, you will be put down. But if you humble yourself, you will be honored.”
Jesus Blesses Little Children
(Matthew 19.13-15Mark 10.13-16)15 Some people brought their little children for Jesus to bless. But when his disciples saw them doing this, they told the people to stop bothering him. 16 So Jesus called the children over to him and said, “Let the children come to me! Don't try to stop them. People who are like these children belong to God's kingdom. 17 You will never get into God's kingdom unless you enter it like a child!”
A Rich and Important Man
(Matthew 19.16-30Mark 10.17-31)18 An important man asked Jesus, “Good Teacher, what must I do to have eternal life?”
19 Jesus said, “Why do you call me good? Only God is good. 20 You know the commandments: ‘Be faithful in marriage. Do not murder. Do not steal. Do not tell lies about others. Respect your father and mother.’ ”
21 He told Jesus, “I have obeyed all these commandments since I was a young man.”
22 When Jesus heard this, he said, “There is one thing you still need to do. Go and sell everything you own! Give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven. Then come and be my follower.” 23 When the man heard this, he was sad, because he was very rich.
24 Jesus saw how sad the man was. So he said, “It's terribly hard for rich people to get into God's kingdom! 25 In fact, it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to get into God's kingdom.”
26 When the crowd heard this, they asked, “How can anyone ever be saved?”
27 Jesus replied, “There are some things that people cannot do, but God can do anything.”
28 Peter said, “Remember, we left everything to be your followers!”
29 Jesus answered, “You can be sure that anyone who gives up home or wife or brothers or family or children because of God's kingdom 30 will be given much more in this life. And in the future world they will have eternal life.”
Jesus Again Tells about His Death
(Matthew 20.17-19Mark 10.32-34)31 Jesus took the twelve apostles aside and said:
We are now on our way to Jerusalem. Everything that the prophets wrote about the Son of Man will happen there. 32 He will be handed over to foreigners, who will make fun of him, mistreat him, and spit on him. 33 They will beat him and kill him, but three days later he will rise to life.
34 The apostles did not understand what Jesus was talking about. They could not understand, because the meaning of what he said was hidden from them.
Jesus Heals a Blind Beggar
(Matthew 20.29-34Mark 10.46-52)35 When Jesus was coming close to Jericho, a blind man sat begging beside the road. 36 The man heard the crowd walking by and asked what was happening. 37 Some people told him that Jesus from Nazareth was passing by. 38 So the blind man shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!” 39 The people who were going along with Jesus told the man to be quiet. But he shouted even louder, “Son of David, have pity on me!”
40 Jesus stopped and told some people to bring the blind man over to him. When the blind man was getting near, Jesus asked, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?”
“Lord, I want to see!” he answered.
42 Jesus replied, “Look and you will see! Your eyes are healed because of your faith.” 43 At once the man could see, and he went with Jesus and started thanking God. When the crowds saw what happened, they praised God.
