طالِـعٌ مِنَ الاغتِسالِ.
كُلُّ واحدٍ وتَوأمُهُ،
وما مِنْ واحدٍ مَفقودٍ.
3 شَفَتاكِ سِلْكٌ مِنَ القِرمِزِ،
وكَلامُ فَمِكِ جميلٌ.
خَدَّاكِ فَلْقَتا رُمَّانةٍ
مِنْ وراءِ حِجابِكِ.
4 عُنُقُكِ كبُرْجِ داوُدَ
مَبنِـيٌّ للسِّلاحِ.
ألفُ تُرْسٍ مُعَلَّقٌ فيهِ،
وكُلُّ دُروعِ الجبابِرةِ.
5 ثدياكِ تَوأما ظبْيةٍ
صغيرانِ يَرعيانِ بَينَ السَّوسَنِ.
6 قَبلَ أنْ يَطلَعَ النَّهارُ،
قَبلَ أنْ تَهربَ الظِّلالُ،
أمضي إلى جبلِ المُرِّ
وإلى تلِّ البَخورِ.
7 جميلةٌ كلُّكِ يا رفيقتي،
وما فيكِ عَيـبٌ.
8 تَعالَي معي مِنْ لبنانَ يا عروسُ،
معي مِنْ لبنانَ.
مِنْ أعالي أمانَةَ انْظُري،
مِنْ رأسِ شَنيرَ وحَرمونَ،
مِنْ مَرابِضِ الأسودِ انظري،
مِنْ جِبالِ النُّمورِ.

ويَنبوعٌ مَختومٌ.
13 أغراسُكِ فِردَوسُ رُمَّانٍ
وكُلِّ ثَمَرٍ شَهيٍّ،
وكافورٍ معَ نارِدين.
14 نارِدين وزَعفَرانَ،
كمُّونٍ وقِرفَةٍ،
معَ كُلِّ أشجارِ البَخورِ.
مُرٌّ وعودٌ
معَ أفخرِ الطُّيوبِ.
15 مَعينُ جنَّاتٍ
وبئرُ مياهٍ حَيَّةٍ
نازِلَةٍ مِن لبنانَ.
العروس
16 أفيقي يا ريحَ الشِّمالِ،
وتَعالَي يا ريحَ الجَنوبِ!
هُبِّـي على جَنَّتي
فتَفيضَ طُيوبُها،
ليأتِ حبـيبـي إلى جَنَّتِهِ
ويأكُلَ ثَمَرهُ الشَّهيَّ.
