The Descendants of Adam
(1 Chronicles 1.1-4)1 This is the list of the descendants of Adam. (When God created human beings, he made them like himself. 2 He created them male and female, blessed them, and named them “Human Beings.”) 3 When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son who was like him, and he named him Seth. 4 After that, Adam lived another 800 years. He had other children 5 and died at the age of 930.
6 When Seth was 105, he had a son, Enosh, 7 and then lived another 807 years. He had other children 8 and died at the age of 912.
9 When Enosh was 90, he had a son, Kenan, 10 and then lived another 815 years. He had other children 11 and died at the age of 905.
12 When Kenan was 70, he had a son, Mahalalel, 13 and then lived another 840 years. He had other children 14 and died at the age of 910.
15 When Mahalalel was 65, he had a son, Jared, 16 and then lived another 830 years. He had other children 17 and died at the age of 895.
18 When Jared was 162, he had a son, Enoch, 19 and then lived another 800 years. He had other children 20 and died at the age of 962.
21 When Enoch was 65, he had a son, Methuselah. 22 After that, Enoch lived in fellowship with God for 300 years and had other children. 23 He lived to be 365 years old. 24 He spent his life in fellowship with God, and then he disappeared, because God took him away.
25 When Methuselah was 187, he had a son, Lamech, 26 and then lived another 782 years. He had other children 27 and died at the age of 969.
28 When Lamech was 182, he had a son 29 and said, “From the very ground on which the Lord put a curse, this child will bring us relief from all our hard work”; so he named him Noah. 30 Lamech lived another 595 years. He had other children 31 and died at the age of 777.
32 After Noah was 500 years old, he had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
مواليد آدم
1 هذا سِجِلُّ مواليدِ آدمَ:
يومَ خلَقَ اللهُ الإنسانَ على مِثالِ اللهِ صنَعَهُ. 2 ذَكَرا وأنثَى خلَقَهُ وباركَهُ وسَمَّاهُ آدمَ يومَ خلَقَه.
3 وعاشَ آدمُ مئةً وثلاثينَ سنَةً، ووَلَدَ وَلَدا على مِثالِه كَصُورَتِهِ، وسمَّاهُ شِيتا. 4 وعاشَ آدمُ بَعدَما وَلَدَ شِيتا ثَمانيَ مئَةِ سَنةٍ، وَلَدَ فيها بَنينَ وبَناتٍ. 5 فكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ آدمَ الّتي عاشَها تسعَ مئَةٍ وثلاثينَ سنَةً وماتَ.
6 وعاشَ شِيتٌ مِئةً وخَمْسَ سِنينَ، ووَلَدَ أنُوشَ. 7 وعاشَ شِيتٌ بَعدَما ولدَ أنوشَ ثمانيَ مئةٍ وَسَبْعَ سِنينَ، وَلَد فيها بَنينَ وبناتٍ.
8 فكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ شِيتٍ تِسْعَ مئةٍ واثنتي عشْرَةَ سنَةً وماتَ.
9 وعاشَ أنوشُ تِسعينَ سنَةً، وولَدَ قينانَ. 10 وعاشَ أنوشُ بَعدَما وَلَدَ قينانَ ثمانيَ مئةٍ وَخْمسَ عشْرَةَ سنَةً وَلَدَ فيها بنينَ وبَناتٍ. 11 فكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ أنوشَ تسعَ مَئةٍ وَخَمْسَ سنينَ وماتَ.
12 وعاشَ قينانُ سَبْعينَ سنَةً ووَلَدَ مَهْلَلْئيلَ. 13 وعاشَ قينانُ بَعدَما وَلَدَ مَهْلَلْئيلَ ثمانيَ مئةٍ وَأربعينَ سنَةً وَلَدَ فيها بَنين وبَناتٍ، 14 فكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ قينانَ تِسعَ مئَةٍ وعشْرَ سِنينَ وَماتَ.
15 وعاشَ مَهْلَلْئيلُ خَمسا وسِتينَ سنَةً، ووَلَدَ يارِدَ. 16 وعاشَ مَهْلَلْئيلُ بَعدَما وَلَدَ يارِدَ ثمانيَ مئةٍ وثلاثينَ سنَةً وَلَدَ فيها بَنينَ وبَناتٍ. 17 فكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ مَهْلَلْئيلَ ثمانيَ مئةٍ وَخَمْسا وتِسْعيَن سنَةً وماتَ.
18 وعاشَ يارِد مئةً واثنتينِ وستِّينَ سنَةً ووَلَدَ أخنوخَ. 19 وعاشَ ياردُ بَعدَما وَلَدَ أخنوخَ ثمانيَ مئةِ سنَةٍ وَلَدَ فيها بَنينَ وبَناتٍ. 20 فَكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ ياردَ تسعَ مئةٍ واثنتَينِ وستِّينَ سنَةً وماتَ. 21 وعاشَ أخنوخُ خمْسا وستِّينَ سنَةً ووَلَدَ مَتوشالِـحَ. 22 وسَلَكَ أخْنوخُ معَ اللهِ بَعدَما وَلَدَ مَتُوشالِـحَ ثلاثَ مئةِ سنَةٍ وَلَدَ فيها بَنينَ وبَناتٍ. 23 فكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ أخنوخَ ثلاثَ مئةٍ وخمْسا وستِّينَ سنَةً. 24 وسَلَكَ أخْنوخُ معَ اللهِ، ثُمَّ تَوارَى لأنَّ اللهَ أخذَهُ إليهِ.
25 وعاشَ مَتوشالِـحُ مئةً وسَبْعا وثمانينَ سنَةً، ووَلَدَ لامِكَ. 26 وعاشَ مَتوشالِـحُ بَعدَما وَلَدَ لامِكَ سَبْعَ مئةٍ واثْنتَينِ وثمانينَ سنَةً وَلَدَ فيها بَنينَ وبَناتٍ. 27 فكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ مَتوشالِـحَ تسْعَ مئةٍ وَتِسْعا وَسِتِّينَ سنَةً وماتَ.
28 وعاشَ لامِكُ مئةً واثنتَينِ وثمانينَ سنَةً، ووَلَدَ ابْنا 29 وسَمَّاهُ نُوحا، قالَ: «هذا يُريحُنا عَنْ أعمالِنا وعَنْ تَعَبِ أيدينا في الأرضِ الّتي لعَنَها الرّبُّ». 30 وعاشَ لامِكُ بَعدَما وَلَدَ نُوحا خَمْسَ مئةٍ وخَمْسا وتِسْعينَ سنَةً وَلَدَ فِـيها بَنينَ وبَناتٍ. 31 فكانَت كُلُّ أيّامِ لامِكَ سَبْعَ مئةٍ وسَبْعا وسَبعينَ سنَةً وماتَ.
32 ولمَّا كانَ نوحٌ ابنَ خَمْسِ مئةِ سنَةٍ وَلَدَ ساما وحاما ويافثَ.
