John 5:6-7 “When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, ‘Do you want to get well?’ The invalid replied, ‘Sir, I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.’”
Jesus approached the man and asked him a profound question: “Do you want to get well?” The man’s response reflects not only his physical limitations but also his deep sense of abandonment, as he had no one to help him.
